I turn to Neil Roberts banana lounges. Three are hung horizontally along one wall and are lit from behind by clear florescent light tubes which press through the thick warp and weft. Hung on the patio or verandah wall, hints of nighttime festivity (party lights, the Aussie Bar B Q and the inevitable mosquito) view with these human sized, bug zappers.
Plastics (sic) by Nature: an often whimsical, eclectic, colourful and definitely fun exhibition surprised me with the understated profundity of a darker side. As plastics proliferate I am confident that, packpacking along the Amazon River, I will be able to find an exact replacement lid for my plastic Décor lunch box.
